So, someone asked me that recently.

I thought for 2.5 nano seconds and just laughed. I couldn’t possibly answer that question. Well, not in under a million hours… that’s for sure.

Heh, nah in all seriousness… there is just something about them. I love the magic that is in the bride’s smile as she walks down the aisle. I love watching a groom hold back tears of joy, love, nervousness… oh gosh, just everything. The way the bridesmaids giggle, and the groomsmen just want to get off of the altar. The way the parents look as their babies grow up.

There is so much going on at a wedding… so much beauty.

And honestly my job is the best! I just get to watch it all and soak it all in. I get to take these moments and capture them… so they can remember. So they can remember all of the little things that get forgotten on such a whirlwind of a day.

My favorite thing about weddings is probably the fact that thousands of stories can be told with sheer emotion. There doesn’t need to be any words.

I am just blessed to be a part of it.

And honestly... don't you just need this nerd shooting your wedding? :-)

I think I sort of resemble a drowning mouse or rat or something of that nature in this photo. My hubby tends to capture my not so cute moments… GO HIM! :-P hehe.
