After a long blogging hiatus I’m back and have a ton to blog about! Ooooh, I’m so excited to update you all!

First of many weddings to hit the blog is Don and Shadi’s lovely wedding! The wedding took place at Karl Strauss Brewery in Sorrento Valley. It was such a fun location! It was tucked behind beautiful gardens, and had so much character. I love venues like that!

I simply do not think enough words even exist to explain how amazing Don and Shadi are. They are just the type of people that you instantly connect with and want to know everything about. Don is so incredibly kind and loves Shadi so fully. He just makes you feel so comfortable and instantly like you are a good friend. Shadi is the definition of radiant. She is gorgeous on the inside and outside and like Don, makes you feel so welcome.  Sean and I had so much fun and were SO honored to have documented their lovely wedding!

Look at this amazing set up! The wedding was a beautiful hybrid of a persian and traditional ceremony. I loved all of these fantastic details.

Those hardened sugar cones are used during the ceremony. They are ground together over the bride and grooms head to shower them in sweetness. I love it!

I love weddings full of tradition! Shadi and Don dipped their little fingers into honey to symbolize starting the marriage with sweetness and love.

Best thing about a persian wedding? DANCING! And let me tell you Shadi knew how to dance! I love this one of her and her father dancing together!
