Vikings & Iceland & Friends OH MY! – Portraits

This post is all about some amazing individuals. This family is creativity… in all of its form.

First there is Heather who is a vibrant, sassy, fun, creative, loving, silly flower child. She’s a total hippy in all of the right ways. She doesn’t take herself too seriously, but has an amazing confidence that is remarkable. Heather is a doer. She has an idea and she creates it. She has a thought and she makes it come alive. She has a dream and she makes it happen. I love this about her. She is very much the type of person that truly experiences things. She loves to explore and learn and just soak everything in… and that way of being lead her to Iceland. Yes, Iceland. From sunny perfect weather San Diego to… Iceland. Culture shock?

Well, it would have been except for that road lead her to the viking man of her dreams… Jonas (pronounced YO-nas) ;-). He’s the other half of Heather that I absolutely am blessed to know. Jonas is the type of guy that you just want to be around, want to know everything about and want to learn from all at the same time. He has the kindest eyes. He is tall and strong, but absolutely the softest. He loves Heather and it’s SO clear. He looks at her in a way that would honestly make you melt. He supports her, he believes in her, he challenges her and he most importantly just loves her through and through.

Last but certainly not least… there is baby Noah. This child is precious. He just has the sweetest eyes I’ve ever seen. He loves music, he loves to watch his mommy and daddy and he loves to confidently try new things… and try… and try… and then try some more. Then he achieves those things. It’s amazing to watch children and Noah is no exception. He is a total mixture of his fiery mama and his gentle father and I know he will grow up to be an amazing man.

The last thing to bring up is that miss Heather is the creator and owner of Elskan Baby! These are the cutest and most fabulous hats you have ever seen.  If you have a baby or know anyone with one… these are the hats for you. For you ladies, she also makes BEAUTIFUL headbands that are actually comfortable… trust me. I’m so picky about headbands and I like them as much as I like my Anthro headbands.  She also makes newborn props like cocoons and special blankets. She really can do it all. The best part of this is that Jonas has learned how to crochet and he helps her. Heather’s business absolutely blew up and he came right alongside her and is a complete pro. I’ve seen his hats… seriously Heather… you got some competition! ;-)

Make sure you check out her Website and go to her Facebook and become a fan so you can see all of the awesome stuff she’s creating!

Now for some photos!

Hey Noah, you have the best eyes… EVER.

So this was in my driveway, but I just thought the light was beautiful!

So much laughter.

Oh hey Heather, could you be more gorgeous?!

You are mighty studly Jonas!

I love their faces here. Heather is a nervous mommy and Jonas and Noah are just laughing so hard and having a great time!
