So many changes… So much goodness

So I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus. :-)

Basically the past few weeks have been loaded with life changes, laugher, tears, joy, excitement and sleep depravation… to name a few. :-)

On April 27th, 2011 our little girl Joelle Grace came into this world and truly has been “gracing” us with her beautiful and sweet presence. She is just the sweetest little baby. I cannot express how truly thrilled I am to have her. It’s amazing to watch our little family go from 3 to 4. The dynamics are already so incredibly different. I must say, I was so nervous in the last few months of my pregnancy, just wondering how everything would go. I mainly worried about my son Jude… who is only 16 months old.

I kept thinking to myself, he’s just a baby himself… how will he take this huge change of his mommy being so busy and distracted with a new baby? Will he understand at all? Is it going to make him feel left out/neglected… will he love me less? Oh man, SO many thoughts. Then of course all of the thoughts of… how the heck am I going to juggle being a wife, mommy of 2, business owner. ::Enter freak out mode::

All I know is God SO provides. He provides strength, grace, compassion, energy, love love love and more love. It’s only been 2 weeks but I know with God, I can do this. I can juggle two kids under 2. I can be fully available for my husband, for my children and my amazing clients. I just had to get past the fear part. :-)

I’m absolutely loving this time! My husband is home to help with the kiddos, Jude is loving his “baby” (that’s what he calls her, and it melts my heart every time), Joelle is as sweet as can be and it’s wedding season! Woo! I’m just more blessed than I can say. God truly is so good.

And because every post needs some photos…

Her first “newborn” photos. She is 4 days old here… and SUCH a good sleeper. She made taking these photos way easy. Go Jo! :-)

Jude giving me some guilt look… he probably wanted to go outside… and I probably took him right after this face, because really… how could I not?

I have a seriously unhealthy obsession with baby girl leg warmers. Oh geesh.

Joelle with her little bunny. I’m going to take monthly photos of her with this bunny as she grows. It’s funny cause that bunny looks huge to me there, but it’s the tiniest thing.

Well, that’s all for now!

Brooke, it’s so amazing to see God’s blessings in your life. AND it’s so amazing to see how stinkin’ cute your kids are. I actually was telling someone last night about how you make super cute kids! hehe. Lots of love!

I love your little family, and I am so glad to hear you are now enjoying rather than fearing! Families are so amazing, and when they are your own, it is indescribable. I am so proud of how strong you are in all of this, and still running your business. It really is something to look up to!

    Beautiful little beans!
