Krystel & Ian – Wedding

Where to even start? :-)

This wedding was one of the most challenging and fun weddings that Sean and I have ever shot. First of all it was on the Berkeley, a boat that is a museum on the water in downtown San Diego. It also was December, so it was freezing and dark. This is the first wedding that we had to use on camera lighting pretty much the entire time, which was definitely a challenge as it’s not my style at all. I love having the opportunity to be pushed and embrace other styles of shooting and this was a perfect time for that. :-)

Krystel and Ian are lovely and amazing in every single way. They love the Lord and that completely shows in how they are with each other and everyone around them. They are easy going, kind, fun, and full of laugher. The wedding was mostly just family which made it so intimate and special. Especially it being on the Berkeley which was built in the 1800’s. It’s so quaint, charming and has so much character. It’s always such a blessing to be surrounded by such happiness and I truly am so happy to be doing what I am doing. :-)

Congratulations Krystel and Ian! Thank you for giving Sean and me the honor of documenting your special day!

Oh San Diego, I totally love you!

Love those benches!

The wedding was the week before Christmas so everything had a warm Christmasy-holiday feel.

Krystel, you are just stunning.

I posted this photo mainly because of the two little flower girls covering their ears. I think they meant to cover their eyes? :-)

The San Diego lights are gorgeous, but they don’t have anything on you, Krystel!!

I love the old fashioned vibe that the reception photos took on. I seriously love the character that the boat has!

I am a personal lover of cake photos. I love  the feisty expressions!

This is literally how Ian and Krystel were the whole time. So in love.
