I met Melissa at a wedding that Elise and I shot last May. I was so incredibly excited and honored that she wanted to me to shoot her upcoming wedding. It’s always so wonderful to have a bridesmaid that I’ve previously worked with choose me for her wedding, it is just so encouraging! Melissa is SO sweet, and so beautiful and I couldn’t wait to meet her fiance Dustin.
Sean and I met up with Dustin and Melissa at a Starbucks a few months ago and I just fell in love with them as a couple. They are fun, kind, full of ideas and totally up for anything! I seriously have the best clients!
We decided to shoot in Balboa Park, a gorgeous location in San Diego. We stayed away from the “main attractions” at the park and opted for more of a whimsical feel. I loved that. Watching Dustin and Melissa together is such a joy. Dustin totally pays attention to every detail, and has his eyes out for Melissa in every way. It is so sweet! Melissa completely trusts Dustin and just lights up when she sees him. They truly are perfect for each other!
