Ariana & Ryan – Engagement

Sean, Jude and I met up with Ariana for coffee to discuss some type of photo session for the upcoming holidays. At our meeting, I learned that Ariana was engaged and that she was getting married at one of my FAVORITE venues in Encinitas this coming March.  Well, we totally clicked and I fell in love with Ariana! She’s such a sweet girl, so beautiful and totally down to earth.  We briefly talked about wedding photography and we knew that we wanted to do some kind of shoot with her fiance. A few weeks later she decided she’d like to book us to shoot her wedding and Sean and I were beyond excited!!

On the day of the engagement session it was freezing. FREEZING. Like, I don’t think we were living in Southern California at this point. Ryan is from Michigan, so I’m convinced he brought a little Michigan weather with him. :-) For real.

We braved the cold anyway, and went to our location and Ryan and Ariana were amazing! By the photos you would have no idea that it was absolutely frigid. They did so great, I was totally impressed. The only bummer about that was the fact that our shoot wasn’t as long as I usually like. I just didn’t want my amazing clients to, I don’t know, get hypothermia. ;-) Okay, maybe that was a bit dramatic… but it was SO cold.

Thank you Ariana and Ryan for being amazing and braving the cold! Sean and I had SO much fun with you guys and we cannot wait for the wedding!

Ariana, you are stunning.

So much love.

I finally forced a coat onto Ariana. She was so amazing about dealing with the cold.

This photo isn’t completely my style, but I loved how golden the light is and how amazing these guys look. Models, for sure.
